CBA is leading bank in Australia and has multiple business units. CommInsure,
which is the Insurance segment of CBA, is the customer for the CoreWealth
Management Segment. The bank provides General and Life Insurance to
Australian customers and has multiple applications to handle these. The offshore
team provides support for over 40 applications in different technologies. The
project operates on 80-20 model with more of offshore operations. The project is
into steady-state since Aug’08 and IBM is leveraging its capabilities to take up
more value-added tasks fitting in the SDLC.
