Description: The “3Pi” system is highly scalable reporting tool, supporting data collecting and monitoring processes,
calculating benchmarks and providing reports with flexibility in updating Business Rules. This project is built
for automotive industry; however, this can be implemented in any distributed structured organization.
Dealers submit their financial data on monthly/quarterly basis and benchmarks are generated by
geographical hierarchy and custom/flexible reports are generated which are used for strategic decisions
and profit/process improvements. Each geographical market has their own systems and global user
accesses the data globally for all markets. The system supports desktop, tablet platform and integrated
localization for different culture users.

multiple challenges in their existing FORTRAN based system which is in operation since 1976. Few key
challenges include performance, user experience, accessibility, ease of use, data duplication. Optimation
wants to modernize their existing system and create SaaS based system to acquire new markets of small
and medium manufacturing shops.
Architecture is designed and presented to client that includes latest LAMP technologies that such as
Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB [for reporting], and HTML5.The solution would be based on client/server
architecture using REST Web Services. The browser based user Interface will be developed using HTML5/
CSS 3.0/JavaScript frameworks/Ajax technologies, and will be compatible with all commonly used browsers
on Desktop, Laptop, Tablet and Smartphone devices.

Developed overall architectural strategy, including technology selection, for the complete Fabrication
