Load Study
• What is a Load Study ?
 Load Study is the process through which you get to know the
overall energy consumption at a given site.
 Based on the Load Study some key indicators can be
determined for the sizing of the system.
• Appliances are divided into two main categories.
 Lightning Load.
 Resistive Load – All light fittings, fans , electronic equipment
like TV, computer, music system etc can be considered as
Resistive Loads.
 Inductive Load (AH load).
