Kinder Morgan is the largest energy infrastructure company in North America, operating pipelines and terminals and transports natural
gas, gasoline, crude oil, carbon dioxide (CO2) and more. Kinder Morgan terminals store, handle and trans-load petroleum products,
chemicals, dry-bulk and break-bulk commodities. The terminals business unit operates like a giant toll road and receive a fee for services,
including multi-modal trans-loading, generally avoiding commodity price risk.
Safety Quality Environmental (SQE) Compliance Coordinator – Midwest Terminals
Working knowledge of: EPA, IL-EPA, Clear Air Act (CAA), Clear Water Act (CWA), Comprehensive
Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), FERC, IL-EPA, Federal Insecticide,
Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), Oil Pollution Act (OPA), Resource Conservation and Recovery

Reporting to General Manager, provide coaching, guidance and instruction for compliance with Federal
and State regulations and corporate policy for 21 liquids, dry-bulk and break-bulk commodity storage
terminals.
As the first region to implement, manage the Management of Change (MOC) program for rollout of
corporate programs and SOPs, creating the new standard of excellence.
Assisted in three EPA audits of Midwest terminals. Working with site leadership to identify and solve
deficiencies and implemented solutions and monitoring for on-going compliance.
Developed, implemented and managed a recognition program for employees demonstrating safety
behaviors while performing job-related duties with significant inherent safety and environmental risks.
o Presented to and acquired approval from the Vice President of Operations to implement new
rewards and recognition program for terminals in the Midwest and East Coast.
o Created a points-based program for each Terminal and individual employee.
o Cost tracking and administration of program with Accounting and Payroll teams.
Manage and update SharePoint for the Midwest Region for all 21 Terminals to enable the terminals to
utilize the most current MOCs, SOPs, reporting tools, etc.
Support the region with reporting and tracking tools for incident reporting and conduct trend analysis for
executive leadership.
In a fiscally-responsible manner, coordinate regional team training sessions, meetings and financial review
meetings. This includes travel for 20+ staff.
