The hiring authority for all Group C positions is the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Short Service Commission (UPSSSC). Every year, they provide the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) test. Students must physically show up at exam centres to take an MCQ test. The student's performance is determined by UPSC using a percentile system. After the results are posted on the official website, the PET score is still valid for a year. There are more than 20,000 open positions. In 2021, almost 20 lakh candidates took the exam. About 48 lakh pupils are registered in 2022, and 37 lakh have paid their tuition. Read more: https://www.cheggindia.com/govt-exams/upsssc-previous-year-question-papers/
