Commissioning and Project related experience:

 Petrochemical FCC unit mega project (Technology licensor: Stone & Webster).
 Coker Hydrotreating Unit (Technology licensor: UOP).

design documents, PFDs, P&IDs and equipment data sheets.

 Involved in framing up of start-up, shutdown and emergency response procedures.
 Troubleshooting of propylene recovery unit, PFCC unit feed quality, PFCC LPG/propylene
quality control and single point mooring systems.
 Actively involved in developing and steamlining of various standard operating guidelines.
 Incharge of the plant area safety committee (HSE). Carried out numerable job safety
assessments for ensuring ob safety at site.

2. Current Job Responsibilities (Shift-in-charge FCC block):
 To oversee safe & efficient operation and maintenance of petrochemical PFCC and coker
gasoil hydrotreater units.
 To performroutine processengineeringcalculations(i.e.mass& energy balances, unit yield
etc).
 Generating and maintaining an informational database on all pertinent process variables,
and updating PFDs and P&Ids.
 Monitor the control system and application programs capabilities and limitations; also
identify and discuss the required DCS/ESD and other related systems, vendor technical
support & upgrades.
 To Gather, analyze,interpret, act upon, and pass on all pertinent unit operations data. This
includes preparation of Daily, Monthly and Annual production reports. Compiling and
delivering the monthly and annual performance review presentations for the unit.
 Supervise the day-to-day activities of planning & scheduling of Operations, Start-up and
shutdown of Units and coordinate with other department during steady state and
shutdown/ turnaround periods.
 To make proactive recommendations for improving unit yields and/or optimizing energy
consumption.
 Developmentof operatingguidelinesandstandardoperatingprocedures(SOP) for handling
of various process equipments.
Job Responsibilities (Shift-in-charge Oil Movement and Storage):
 To oversee safe & efficient operation and maintenance of tankfarm (106 tanks including
crude oil storage, white oil and black oil storage and LPG Horton spheres & mounded
bullets).
 Responsible for shift-wise planning and execution of crude oil receipt, product blending &
certification and dispatch activities.
 As Pipeline TransferOfficer,responsible for product accounting and liaisoning with various
oil marketing companies for smooth and timely despatch of products.
 Taskforce member of department’s ISO certification team.
 Supervise technicians and other engineers.
 As Loading Master in marine operations group, responsible for supervision of crude oil
discharge and product loading operations on-board the marine tankers.
