Beyond the EU: DORA and NIS 2 Directive's Global Impact
Crit 4
1. How did you inter-grate
technologies - software, hardware
and online - in this project?
2. Software
I used different types of software when creating my media project,
for example when I would take a picture with my camera which is
a piece of hardware, I would put the SD card into the computer
then upload it into Photo shop which is an example of software.
This would be done so that I can edit my picture to they way I
would like it to be.
3. Hardware
The different types of hardware used were Mac Computer, Camera, SD
card etc…
All of these bits of hardware helped me complete my magazine, the
Mac was the computer that I used to put the Indesign software on and
complete the task.
I used the Camera to actually take my pictures and then the SD card
was used to store the camera footage.
4. Online
What I used the internet for
• Blogger
• Slideshare
• Finding fonts
• Research
The online world gave me great access to all of the thing that I needed. For example
when there was a certain font that I wanted to go into my magazine I was able to look it
up and download it from the website.
5. Technological Conversion
Technological conversion has helped massively while completing this project for example
when working on these questions it gave me the ability to do it from home on my laptop and
I am able to do since the hardware has gotten smaller but more powerful as the time has
gone on. Without internet I wouldn’t have been able to look up an image or be able to do as
much research as I was able to do.
Summing all of the three things together, what they all did is gave me the access to
everything I needed, from the comfort of my own home when I was uploading my pictures I
didn’t need to have a massive line of cable I just needed a USB adapter that would be able
to upload my Pictures. Also to get all of the fonts I liked I was just able to go to a website
and download them then put them into my magazine text.
