This activity will be a tool to help the students share about who they are and what things they have in common with classmates. The final product will be a presentation using the student’s preferred format. The students will gather information about themselves through the process of an interview. Students will work in pairs at for the interview part and then individually to create their presentation. The student will present on six “I am” statements about who they are. The students will present their final project to the class.
The teacher will begin by telling the students about his/her self. The teacher will go over an example of a teacher-made “I am” presentation and the six “I am” statements that were used.
The teacher presentation can be any format.
It must be a guide to show students what they are expected to do.

Teacher should review the presentation method that was used and how the presentation method represents the teacher.

Students will interview each other asking their own questions or using the starter statements to complete 6 “I am” statements
Students will be paired up either to match strengths or in a way that is complementary to the work required.
Student who have difficulty working in pairs can work in a group guided by the teacher
