In every language – in every culture - it is the light in your window that tells people there's a caring, sharing individual inside </li></ul><ul><li>Tell yourself a few times a day, “Arun, you are great and you are born to do great things” </li></ul><ul><li>Keep 3 diaries in which you may record </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Things you are grateful for </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Things you have accomplished </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Your happy moments </li></ul></ul>

Cont….. <ul><li>Don’t compare yourself with others </li></ul><ul><li>Stand in front of a full length mirror and tell yourself with enthusiasm “I LIKE MYSELF”, 3 to 5 times a day </li></ul><ul><li>Pat yourself saying “SHABASH” on every small success </li></ul><ul><li>Self esteem is loving yourself. Hug yourself 3 to 5 times a day saying, “I LOVE MYSELF” </li></ul><ul><li>Sing songs like “I AM THE BEST”. </li></ul>

Cont…. <ul><li>Don’t think what others think about you </li></ul><ul><li>Take very good care of yourself </li></ul><ul><li>Make a contract with yourself to become your own best friend </li></ul><ul><li>Make a list of negative statements you often say to yourself, then develop a positive statement </li></ul><ul><li>Forgive people who have hurt you </li></ul>

  13. 13. <ul><li>Buy a 200 page note book and make it your goal book </li></ul><ul><li>Goal setting is just planning ahead to get where you want to go </li></ul><ul><li>People who set and get their goals are winners </li></ul><ul><li>Identify your purpose of life and set your goals </li></ul><ul><li>Goals must be written. If its written then it’s a real commitment </li></ul><ul><li>Goals must be believable </li></ul>

Cont… <ul><li>Goals must be SMART (specific, measurable, appealing, realistic, time bound) </li></ul><ul><li>Well defined goals will pull you in their direction </li></ul><ul><li>People who set goals do better than those who do not </li></ul><ul><li>People with specific goals do better than those with vague goals </li></ul><ul><li>Without goals we do activities which do not produce results that we want </li></ul><ul><li>Set short term and long term goals </li></ul><ul><li>Purpose of goals is not to get things, but to mould yourself into a person </li></ul>
