 It is a open source software platform and
operating system for mobile devices.
 Android has its own virtual machine
i.e.DVM(Dalvik Virtual Machine),which is
used for executing the android application.
 It is based on Linux Kernal

• ‘Now on Tap’ is basically the shortcuts to search for
additional contextual information
• ‘Now on Tap’ reads the content of any screen on your
phone,whether it is in a Google or third-party app,and
delivers information that might be relevant to key words
on Screen
• it’s a huge time-saver as it will save you the effort of
having to Google someone’s name,launch a different
app or Cross-Check information

• Due to inclusion of fingerprint API,and two
new Nexus devices equipped with
fingerprint Scanners,android Pay has
arrived
• Android Pay is one of a number of touch
less payment Systems including APPLE
