2. Synopsis - A teenage boy's mother has been murdered from a
group of psychopaths who believes that she was the instigator
to an illegality that went wrong. His mother's passing has left
him in great suffering -this leaves him in a state of paranoia. The
storyline is developed by the teenage boy thinking that he is
being followed. Series of unusual actions happen to indicate
that he is being stalked , including him being chased through
alleyways and most ultimately hunting him down to be killed . A
turning point occurs where the people following him are
actually the perpetrators of his mother's death. As he begins to
believe that he is getting over his paranoia, the protagonist
wakes up and realises that he has been kidnapped.

The genre of our film is a psychological thriller this is
because the psychological aspect of the film will be
the idea of the protagonist (James) becoming paranoid
that he is being followed by a group of psychotic

The primary target audience for our film would be predominantly for the
younger audience. This may consist of the age between 17 - 30 year olds. This is
because the protagonist of the film will be 17/18 and the audience may be able
to relate to them more easily.
On the other hand, our secondary audience may be towards an older age, for
those who may be interested in psychological thrillers or have similar themes
such as: the ring and Premonition
6. Promotional Campaign
In our promotional campaign for our film, we will use
social media as one of our platforms to reach our
audience as well as the idea of a ‘fake blog’ where
the protagonist will be filling the audience in with his
experiences of being followed by a group of
psychotic killers.
Also, as part of the marketing campaign, we will
ensure that their is an early screening of the film
that is targeted towards journalists and film critics
before it is released to the rest of the public. As well
as the trailer, we will use posters to promote our
psychological thriller and the use of separate
promotional videos that will of the countdown of
the release of the trailer and the film.
7. Unique Selling Point
In our psychological thriller it is mainly the story line and
the plot twists that drives the marketing of our film. The
enigma and the secrecy surrounding our genre of
psychological thriller will leave the audience questioning
actions of the characters.
