Part of a large 36 million euro plan and a budget of around two million euro for an intelligent street
lighting project carried out for the restoration of the Birgu fortifications in Malta.
• Assisting to the Managing Electrical Engineer in the project, responsible for having complete project
knowledge and being the driving force for its development.
• Providing regular progress reports on street lighting related matters both internally and externally
through both reports and presentations.
• Ensuring that the street lighting inventory is collected accurately and in accordance with good industry
practice.
• Applying lighting design standards and codes of practice.
• Lighting calculations and simulation using Dialux.
• Drawing up designs and plans in autoCAD and correcting according to ongoing project developments.
• Liaising with customers, professional organizations, contractors, sub-consultants and other design
teams on design, cost and project program requirements.
• Checking own electrical design deliverables and also able to check designs prepared within own team
