2. -Initiate RFIs and RFQs
-Seek and qualify vendors
-Send quotation enquiries to suppliers and specialist Sub-contractors, etc. to receive competitive
quotations from them for inclusion in the bid.
-Follow up with vendors & maintain communication with contractor and vendors
-Ensure that vendors are aware of the tentative project schedule and ensure
Commitment on supply once awarded.
-Make comparison sheets to select the most suitable vendor matching with specifications and drawings
-Show aggressiveness, negotiations skill to gain better pricing from vendors
-Ensure all engineering submittals are prepared and submitted to Consultant for approval.
-Follow up materials approval and submittals
-Coordinate between suppliers, designer, consultant & client for material finalization.
-Provide inputs to Procurement for procurement of material and finalization
-Provide inputs to QA/QC department for preparation of method statements and inspection & test
plans
