Transcript Evaluator
• Evaluates the student’s incoming transcript and post all coursework that could apply in
the student’s success at Polk State College.
• Assist students in the requesting of their transcripts in the event a student hold would stop
the process of sending.
• Collaborates with the National student loan clearinghouse to supply enrollment and
graduation information and dates of attendance.
• Provides support working with credentials (our 3rd
party vendor) in the processing of
transcripts requested that are archived.
CECIL COLLEGE – North East, MD 1989 to 02-2013
Operations Specialist
The Operations Specialist is accountable for the management of student data and the execution and scripting
of reports, using the report writer and extracting organized data from the information system.
• Collaborates with other staff members to anticipate the most effective approach for the use of the
College’s student information system, Jenzabar EX 3.2.
• Demonstrate a fluent knowledge of the Jenzabar system including Admissions, Inquiry, and
Registration modules.
• Trouble shoot and communicate with student information vendor (Jenzabar) and act as the liaison to
the IT department with questions or problems.
CARRIE RAY-MURRAY
• Provide instruction and training for Student Services and Enrollment staff, regarding software upgrades,
patches, work-a-rounds and fixes. Of the Jenzabar system.
• Attend annual Jenzabar conference. Extract specific information using Infomaker that directly supports
departments within the College but also includes some state reporting needs.
• Assist in the implementation of the JICS portal including various on-line aspects.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously evaluate the effective use of the college’s student inquiry system.
• Input and maintain master catalogue and course schedules for credit programs.
• Expand the usability of extracted data through charts, graphs, and tables.
• Assist cashier’s office regarding voids for nonpayment, withdrawals, with peak high volume cashiering,
and account reconciliation.
• Assists in the collection and processing of academic reports from faculty add information to students’
permanent record.
• Provide faculty assistance in the use of the on-line grading system and ensure a complete grade
collection process.
• Maintain transcript information for special needs students, Alpha Alpha Theta, transfer evaluations,
waivers, substitutions, grades.

Assistant to Accounts Receivable Clerk/Evening Receptionist
Served as a team leader in the Accounts Receivable Department and assisted Student Services as a
receptionist in the evenings.
