Eligibility
The candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any
discipline from a recognised University with a minimum of
50% of marks in the aggregate.

·	 Write to the Director, Admissions with course and
complete postal address (Include pin code, telephone
number and email address, if any) by enclosing a DD
for Rs.600/- drawn on ‘Manipal University’ payable at
Manipal or Udupi (Karnataka)
experience of growth. Individual exercises, role-plays,
case studies, group tasks, educative games and watching
documentaries followed by discussion are some of the
common teaching strategies used to enhance students
learning experiences.
Ample opportunities are offered to the students to interact
with the subject academicians and practitioners from
Public Health, Media and Communication, Management,
Humanities, Medical Colleges, NGOs and Corporates
through conferences, workshops, seminars and guest
lectures. Students are offered opportunities to interact with
the students and faculties from Universities overseas.
The training is strengthened through engaging students in
conducting a number of research and service projects on a
variety of social concerns including child protection, social
auditing, psychosocial well-being of elderly, school health
promotion and stigma and discrimination towards mental
illness.

Course Structure
The course duration is split into four semesters over two
years. Each semester consists of four theory papers and a
field work practicum. Writing up a dissertation in the third
semester and a block placement at the end of the course
for 6 weeks are mandatory. Students’ performance will be
evaluated based on credit system.

Each semester consists of four theory papers and a field work practicum. Writing up a dissertation in the third semester and a block placement at the end of the course for 6 weeks are mandatory.
