2. Teaching approach: activities are organized through the PPP (Presentation – Practice –
Production) approach.
Material and resources: a projector, a computer, 12 copies with questions to work in
groups. 12 copies of student A and 13 copies of student B for class 2.
Pedagogical use of ICT in class: in this lesson, I’ll use a projector and my computer. In
private secondary schools in Viedma (such as the one I chose) there are projectors in
the classroom, so every teacher can bring her computer and connect it to them.
Seating arrangement: as teens tend to be shy when they have to perform speaking
tasks, they can work in pairs with someone they like. In this way, Ss will feel more
confident in the development of the activities.
Individual work: I’ll assess students’ participation and their attitude towards each
activity presented in both lessons.
Assessment, what will be assessed and how: to avoid putting teens in the spotlight
when they make a mistake, mistakes can be collected during each activity and they
can be corrected at the end of each task. The whole class will correct the mistakes. I
will also walk around the classroom and listen to what Ss are talking about. I’ll only
interrupt the flow of a speaking activity if I find recurrent mistakes.

partner. This next student will have to do the same. The activity finishes when all
students have answered one question.
Transition:
T: Wow, that was great! Now, let’s move into this…
PRESENTATION 10’
Purpose: to learn how to make questions to ask about future plans
In this stage, I’ll guide students to infer the rules to form the GOING TO questions. I’ll
draw two people on the board to make them understand that there is a conversation.
11. T: Is there any volunteer to come to the board and complete this?
S1: Me!
T: Okay, we know how to ask for future plans. But how do we do to ask for a specific
action? For example, I want to know if you are going to the riverside next Sunday
afternoon or not.
T: Let’s see this. How can I complete this questions and its answer? I’m asking for a
specific activity.
S1: Going to in the middle!
T: Yes! Well done. But the first word is missing. What do we need to complete it?
S2: The verb to be! Are!
T: Excellent! So, can someone tell me how do we form the question?
S3: The verb to be changes its position?
