in digital graphics, mixed media, and hand
rendering in my design projects- I have always had
a love for making art that was fostered atThe Mary
Louis Academy in Jamaica, Queens. In 2019, I
earned first place in CUArch’s senior capstone
design competition and the Stanley Hallet

I started drawing seriously in 7th grade and haven’t
stopped ever since. I am currently working as a
teacher aide for UPK at Immaculate Conception
School and I will be pursuing a Masters inVisual Art
Education at Hunter in the fall.

Joe Perez ‘98 has over 13 years experience in the
industry, specializing in knit wear and accessories.
He currently works with brands like Pendleton, Free
country, GH Bass, and Realtree.
Joe was born and raised in NewYork City and is a
lifetime local to LaSalle.

Sonia O’Mara (Stuebe)
Sonia O’Mara is a NewYork City artist and designer
living in Manhattan and maintaining her work
studio in the artist community of Long Island City.
She holds degrees from UCLA, a MA from NYU, and
a certificate in Painting from the National Academy,
and the Paris- American School of Fine Arts. Her
work has been exhibited worldwide and is in many
private and public collections. She is the artist and
designer of the New Orleans, NewYork City, and
Hamptons toile patterns, and designs and
manufactures handbags and home goods with her
original art.

Emre Sevendik ‘19
Emre Sevindik is a graduate of the class of 2019.
As an artist in Ms. O’Mara’s Advanced Art class,
Emre worked on the La Salle Art Expo every year
with Ms. O’Mara as a judge for the grammar school
art pieces. Emre found his love of photography
during graphic art class as a high school junior. He
sells his art work in the NewYork City and
surrounding areas. Urban scenes and people are his
favorite. He also held a job every day after school in
a clothing store where he still works and hopes to be
back when they open!
