3. Maya Eventov grew up in Leningrad in the former
USSR, now known as St. Petersburg. At a young
age her parents introduced her to the great artistic
treasures of the city, with countless hours at
museums studying the works of the great masters.
After graduating in 1987 with a Masters Degree in
Graphic Design, she began working as an
illustrator for children's books. Eventov took
advantage of the fall of the Iron Curtain by
travelling extensively and in the early 1990s she
immigrated to Canada. Today Eventov and her
family reside just outside of Toronto, Ontario.
4. A Colorado native, Kathy Friesz began her career in
art after graduating from the Colorado Institute of Art
in 1984. For over 20 years, Friesz has enjoyed a
career in various design fields including interior
design and graphic design. Friesz’ color sense has
become highly developed throughout her career in
design. Using complex and sophisticated color
palettes, along with the use of graphite and oil
pastels, her art is layered with lovely details to
engage the viewer. Kathy’s influences and
inspirations include architectural details, especially
Art Deco, as well as organic and geological elements
and formations.
5. Srinjoy Gangopadhyay was born in
Kolkata, India in 1986. He received his
Bachelors of Fine Art from the
Government College of Art & Craft,
Kolkata, India in 2010, and his Masters of
Fine Arts from the Savannah College of
Art & Design (SCAD), Atlanta, USA in
2015. While at SCAD, Mr. Gangopadhyay
was awarded the prestigious juried
residency at the Elizabeth Foundation of
Arts in New York. In 2014, Mr.
Gangopadhyay was selected as
Curatorial Assistant for the 'TIME::CODE'
exhibition at WhiteBox Art Center in New
York, curated by Raul Zamudio and Juan
Puntes and featuring such internationally
renowned artists as Ai Wei Wei. He has
written and published articles for Art
Radar Asia and Artehelka, and was part
of juried exhibitions Lalitkala Akademy
and AIFACS in India. He joined Deljou Art
Group in 2015,
6. Born and brought up in South Asia, Inam
learned the fundamentals of sketching and
painting at a young age. Keen to absorb as
much of the world as he could, he traveled
and attended art schools in London, Istanbul,
and Atlanta. From each of these he took
away something specific, both in terms of
inspiration and discipline, and they all played
an integral role in forming his future style.
Inam now lives in the United States, with
international success and exhibits in cities
like Dubai, London, Paris, Miami, Las Vegas
and New York. He has also fulfilled numerous
prestigious commissions with work displayed
in mansions, board rooms and yachts all over
the world.
