3. Goals
•What are your goals for this school
year?
•How do you think we can best achieve
these goals?
4. Expectations
“It’s not the Caitlin Government Association, it’s the
Student Government Association.”
• What do you expect from each other?
• What do you expect from Caitlin and Josh?
• Why are you a member of the SGA Exec Board?
5. Five Dysfunctions of a Team
• Start from the bottom
• Cannot have one without
the other
• 5 Dysfuntions
7. Communication with WCC Community
• Sending an email to students/faculty/staff? Let Caitlin proofread email
before sending it
• Be professional
• This includes talking to students
• SGA E. Board is like a job, treat it as such
• Be sure information is correct before you tell it to someone
9. Office Hours
• 10 hours a week during Fall and Spring semesters
• Caitlin will be checking the log at the end of every week
• If you know you are going to be unable to complete all 10 hours, talk with
Caitlin beforehand
• Failure to complete office hours will result in probation
10. Leftovers…
What do we do with them?
• Any snacks/drinks that are leftover after an event, should be saved for a
future event
• If we save these snacks for future events, we can use money for bigger and
better events
• No giving leftover snacks out to your friends/boyfriend/girlfriend
11. Save the drama for your mama
If you have a problem with someone, talk to them!
12. What is your personality type?
We need to understand that not everyone has the same personality, so we
need to learn how to work with personalities different from our own.
