  1. Many of the difference between college and the workplace involve “choice” or a lack of choice. In college you got to choose whether or not you put in 100% and if you got a bad grade, it only affected you. This is not the case in the workplace. It is expected you put in 100% all the time, and when you mess up or slack off it affects other people as well as the profits and success of the company and organization.
