2. FROM OUR FEEDBACK WE KNEW THAT CHANGING OUR SONG WAS THE
BEST OPTION WE COULD HAVE TAKEN. THIS IS DUE TO US SHOWING
OUR TEACHER AND CLASS MATES OUR PLAN BEFORE MAKING IT AND
THEY SHOWED THEIR DOUBTS. BUT AFTER WE CHANGED THE SONG WE
GOT POSITIVE FEEDBACK WHEN THE PRODUCT WAS FINISHED. WE
UPLOADED THE VIDEO AND WITHIN A COUPLE HOURS WE HAD
AROUND 40/50 VIEWS ON YOUTUBE, THIS SHOWED TO US THAT WE DID
GRAB THE ATTENTION OF OUR TARGET AUDIENCE.
WE ASKED THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE US THERE OPINION TO GIVE IT TO
US TRUTHFULLY SO WE COULD UNDERSTAND THE SORT OF FEEDBACK
WE WERE GETTING. THE ONE THING WE THOUGHT WAS BEST NOT TO
DO WAS TO DO A FOCUS GROUP AS WE THOUGHT THAT THE CAMERA
MIGHT MAKE THE PEOPLE INVOLVED GIVE POSITIVE FEEDBACK EVEN IF
THEY THOUGHT BAD THINGS ABOUT IT. SO WE THOUGHT HAVING IT
DONE ONLINE WOULD GIVE US A MORE HONEST LOOK ON OUR MUSIC
VIDEO.
WITH YOUTUBE AND FACEBOOK IT ALLOWS THEM TO LEAVE COMMENTS
AND LIKES ON OUR MUSIC VIDEO SO WE ARE VIEWING WHAT THEY ARE
SAYING AND USING THIS FEEDBACK TO SEE WHAT THEIR OPINIONS
ARE. THE PEOPLE WHO COMMENTED AND LIKED OUR MUSIC VIDEO WE
FOUND OUT THAT THEY WERE WITHIN OUR AGE RANGE. THIS IS GOOD
FOR US AS WE ARE GETTING THE FEEDBACK FROM OUR TARGETED
AUDIENCE WHICH IS WHAT WE WANT.
3. WHEN WE WERE LOOKING AT THE COMMENTS WE REALISED THAT A
FEW SAID THEY WOULD OF LIKED TO HAVE SEEN MORE OF THE COUPLE
TOGETHER NOT SO MUCH OF THE FEMALE PROTAGONIST. WE CAN GET
FROM THIS THAT WE SHOULD OF SHOWN THE RELATIONSHIP A BIT
MORE RATHER THEN SHOWING THEM SO MUCH APART AND NOT
FOCUS OF THE FEMALE SO MUCH. AS WELL AS THAT THEY ALSO SAID
THEY THOUGHT WE HAD A BIT TO MUCH MISE-EN-SCENE IN THE VIDEO
WHICH WE TOOK INTO CONSIDERATION. BUT WE THOUGHT THAT IF WE
HAD TO DO ANOTHER MUSIC VIDEO WE WOULD PUT MISE-EN -SCENE IN
IT AS WELL SO WE DECIDED TO PUT THAT TO SIDE.
BUT ON THE OTHER HAND A FEW PEOPLE POSITIVELY COMMENTED ON
THE CLIP WHERE THE YOUNG PROTAGONIST IS WALKING THROUGH THE
FIELD DISAPPEARING AN THE REAPPEARING OVER AND OVER. THEY
SAID THAT IT SHOWED OFF OUR TECHNICAL SKILLS AND MADE THE
VIDEO SEEM MORE MYSTERIOUS. YOUTUBE ALLOWED US TO SEE HOW
MANY PEOPLE LIKED AND DISLIKED OUR MUSIC VIDEO. WITHIN A FEW
MINUTES WE HAD 5 LIKES AND 0 DISLIKES WHICH PRESENTED US WITH
THE KNOWLEDGE THAT MORE PEOPLE WERE ENJOYING THE VIDEO THEN
NOT.
4. FROM MY MAGAZINE ADVERT I GOT FEEDBACK FROM MY CLASS MATES
AND ALSO MY TEACHER WHO SAID THEY LIKED THE FACT THAT I HAD
THE FEMALE PROTAGONIST AS THE MAIN IMAGE. ALSO THEY LIKED
THAT I INCLUDED SOUNDCLOUD AND TWITTER ON IT ALSO TO
INCREASE THE ARTISTS NAME. ALSO USING THE HASHTAG ON TWITTER
MAKES A LOT OF PEOPLE HEAR AND SEE ABOUT THE SONG PROMOTING
ITSELF FOR FURTHER AUDIENCE AND THEREFORE LEADING TO MORE
FEEDBACK. THEY ALL SAID THAT IT LOOK REALISTIC AND
PROFESSIONAL AS I INCLUDED ALL THE CONVENTIONS OF A MAGAZINE
ADVERT.
I INCLUDED WHERE TO FIND THE SONG AND BIG PRODUCERS STAR
RATINGS FEEDBACK ON THE MUSIC VIDEO ALREADY. THIS MAKES THE
AUDIENCE SEE THAT THESE BIG PRODUCERS ARE RATING IT A 4/5 STAR
WHICH IS GOOD AND THEREFORE GO TO SEE WHAT THE FUSS IS
ABOUT.
FROM MY MAGAZINE ADVERT I GOT ALL POSITIVE FEEDBACK FROM IT
WHICH I WAS LUCKY TO HAVE. THIS HELPS ME GAIN MORE
CONFIDENCE IF I WAS TO EVER HAVE TO CREATE ANOTHER ONE. IT
WILL LEAD ME TO EXPLORE NEW THINGS AND TECHNOLOGY THAT WILL
HELP ME MAKE IT MUCH MORE BETTER.
5. SOME NEGATIVE COMMENTS WERE SAID ABOUT OUR MUSIC VIDEO WE
HAVE TAKEN ON BOARD. NOT THAT THERE WAS MUCH IT WAS JUST
THE FEW LITTLE TWERKS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE DIFFERENTLY.
THINGS LIKE HAVING MORE VARIETY OF SHOTS WOULD HAVE BEEN A
THING THAT ONE OR TWO PEOPLE COMMENTED ON. CLASS MATES AND
TEACHERS STATED THAT THEY THOUGHT A FEW MORE DIFFERENT TYPES
OF ANGLES WOULD HAVE MADE THE MUSIC VIDEO MORE INTERESTING.
ALSO A NEGATIVE THEY SAID BEFORE WE POSTED THE VIDEO WAS THAT
THERE WAS NO TITLE INTRODUCING THE SONG. WE DID TAKE IT INTO
CONSIDERATION BUT WE WERE NOT ABLE TO CHANGE IT IN TIME FOR
THE DEADLINE SOW E HAD TO LEAVE THAT BE. SOME MORE PEOPLE
HAVE PICKED UP ON IT BUT WE CANT DO ANYTHING TO CHANGE IT
BUT WE NOW KNOW THAT IT WOULD BE VERY IMPORTANT TO INCLUDE
A TITLE FOR THE SONG.
