•the Mobility Agent is supporting the campaign development (D. 3.1
Awareness Campaign)
•Info point: Pop-up will provide information about current mobility model
and the benefits of using PT. The mobility Agent is distributing 100 posters
in the Faculties halls (D3.6 Info board close to companies)
•Facebook and Twitter profiles (D 3.8 On-line fact sheets on
implemented measures)
•The Mobility Agent is present at the University Campus as well as in the
Parc BIT She will carry out the open door days in the Campus. (D 3.14
Action days in companies).
•The Mobility Agent has distributed individualised fact sheets in each
village of the island (mainly in libraries and High schools) showing the
benefits of using PT instead of car (D 3.6 & D 3.17 Awareness
Campaign for high school students)

students and raffles
60 people are being selected to take part in the Benefit Sample Group
Participants Requirements:
Students and workers who shifting from car use to PT during a
15 days period (From 31th March to 20th April)
A qualitative assessment (User Assessment) will be carried out
as well as a complete travel survey (D 3.13)
All successful participants will be granted by:
Mobility Package (D.3.3 & 3.12) including Free PT during and
after the period (30th June)
Free breakfast during the period
2nd project raffle (D 3.4): Participants can win bycicle or a
similar present.

D 3.5: Radio spot TV Spot
This deliverable has not been considered as cost
effective, so it can only be used in one communication
channel (radio)
As alternative a TV spot has been produced so it can be
used in many communication channels: youtube,
websites, facebook, twitter, as well as on the TV.
The spot was published in the local channel 4 last
February

Leaflets have been designed to distribute among students
and workers. Amount: 2.000
Mobility Agent have been distributing Fact sheets showing
the benefits of using PT instead of car.

D 3.11.: Internet and intranet discussion forums
An intranet (Parc BIT) survey and open question was arosen
among Parc BIT workers. This question let workers make
suggestions on parking problems in the campus and how to
improve conditions to develop car-pooling.
The results of this intranet forum was very useful as a previous
step for the designing of the Parc BIT car-pooling website
(www.volscompartir.com)
Facebook and Twitter will also promote discussion forums on
the internet

D 3.16: Design and introduction of parking and car
circulation in the Campus and new pedestrian and
bike routes
•Bike lane have been enlargened till the parc BIT
•Installation of barriers in all the UIB Campus accesses
•Police reinforcement in order to control illegal parking
•Upcoming measures could be the introduction of a
parking fee. Such unpopular measures cannot though be
adopted before University elections (May 2011)
