Rites of Passage are an inevitable event that will occur throughout a person's life. Some examples of these would be leaving University to join the new

In conclusion life is a rite of passage. The only certainty we have is that we will all experience them and once we have gone through the phases of

When an individual experiences movement, or a change from an affixed position in society to another position, that individual can easily describe
their change as a passage into a new realm of living. A new realm of living is the way in which the individual and society views, acknowledges, and

One of the videos that piqued my interest was the video that showcased Mescalero Apache Girl Rite of Passage to become a woman. This particular
video piqued my interest because in my own experience, girls in the United States do not seem to have such a traditional ceremony/rite of passage. I

Rite Of Passage Ever since I was a little kid I've been going to my grandparents the day after Christmas day. My family would go there and meet up
with all the other Woodruffs that would come. It was mostly three or four families if we got lucky. But when we would get together it would be a
great time. My grandma isn't exactly "traditional" as she doesn't bake cookies or knit sweaters or generic stuff that other grandmas do. But she was

rites of passage are common place. Two totally different cultures have totally different rituals and rites of passage. The Apache would most definitely
