Being A Mother : My Life Of My Mother
My mother is the most diligent worker I know and I highly respect her for that. My mom, sister, and I moved across the globe to find better
opportunities for jobs and Education. She worked two jobs as a single mother, and was still able to take care of and support my sister and me in
anything we aspired to do. Being a mother itself is difficult enough because it is an everyday job with no brakes or vacation. She is the person who
inspires me and the person who motivates me to do my best at everything I do. To her, my sister and I's happiness was worth more to her than her
own and for that I truly believe she is the best person in the world. Even when things get hard for her, she does not take time out for herself. During the
death of my grandfather, she had no time to grieve over him because she told us that she has work to keep my sister and I fed and happy. That was
when I realized that if she is going through all the gruelling effort just to keep me and my sister happy, then my goal in life would just to give back to
her by making her proud of me. With her as my motivation I joined things that would make her proud. Freshmen year, I auditioned for thehigh school
traveling band, which was a truly challenging band to get into. I was one of only six freshmen to get in. Joining that band allowed me to experience
my first time traveling with the school across the country to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York, one of the most prestigious halls to perform in the

If you knew me, you would know that for the longest time i never understood why my biological father left me. I never understood the struggle my
mom went through as a single mother. I never understood what it felt like to be alone, but my mom did. My mother is a beautiful, wise, fire–cracker
of a lady but can also be one of the sweetest, and all around most compassionate being to everything and everyone in her life. But I never thought why.

Her mother had seven children, so she never had time to love and pay attention to her only daughter. It was a hard life, she was poor, alone, and
didn't understand why her mother never looked at her the same way she did the boys. Her teen years weren't any easier, her brothers were
constantly in trouble with the law, and what they did she did. At the age of sixteen her stepfather told her that once she was out of school, she had
to leave which left her the only option to go to college. She graduated from a business college and slowly started to put her new found life together
while two out of the six brothers she had came to join her on this adventure. My mom was the life of the party, she had millions of friends and
experienced things I could only dream about, and the men in her life were blessed with her presence and grieved when they split apart.
After being single for quite some time, she met the one and only Antony Hunter. In her eyes he was perfect, but deep down he was a cruel man. It

My Most Important Mentors In My Life : My Mother
I could say I have many mentors in my life, but my most important mentor is my mom. A mentor to me is someone who critically guides you
through your life decisions and provokes endless learning from their life experiences and wisdom. The only person who meets my idea of a
mentor is my mom. I have known her since birth and have always felt loved and cared by her. She gives me every tool I could possibly need to

For this narrative, I interviewed my mom, Amanda Lopez. At first, she seems mean. That's very blunt but it's true. My mom is a very guarded and
self–reserved person. She does have manners and she is nice but, she won't open up immediately to a new person. She is also very hard working and
independent. She wasn't born with these qualities, she went through a lot of different struggles, but that's how she ended up where she is today.

Growing up in a poor family, my mother must work very hard to earn her living since an early age. Due to shortage of material condition, she herself

He gave us the hospitals name and we instantly looked it up in the GPS and my mother drove us there. We quickly ran up to the floor where my
