being alone with this boy. She decides she wants to go back home, yet she knows that her boyfriend is going to be upset if she tells him the truth. So
instead she decides to tell him that she remembered something she had promised her mom she would do for her before she got home from work. She
knows later on, when she is in a more controlled environment, that she will tell this boy the truth because she knows he needs to know.
Another simpler yet common example would be misrepresentations of the truth in responding to the question "How are you doing?" A person's
answer would depend on the relationship that they have with that person. A relationship that is not close at all would most likely bring a response
that would be short and on a positive note like, "everything is fine," even if it was not true. This response would be given to that person because it

Writing is one of the most difficult subjects I have taken on this spring semester. Being able to identify the different types of essays as well as putting
my skills together to write them is the most difficult to me. Although I have learned from the negative and positive feedback, I still feel there is a huge
area that needs improvement. Starting this out I didn't quite know what to expect or what level my writing skills were at. I will most definitely be able to
use what I've learned for my future education as well as my future career. Intellectually I know I had a smart, compassionate instructor that just wanted
to absolute best for me in this aspect.
The beginning of my struggles with writing was back in seventh grade, I remember staying after school 3 out of 5 days a week for tutorials. I
struggled with it all the way until my junior year in high school whenever I came across my English teacher who was once a college professor. It was a

Getting into RN school is one of my dreams and goals I have held for years. I understand research papers as well as English are a big part of getting
your bachelor's degree. Not only will I be able to identify the types of essays, but also I will be able to research true information verses false. I
never knew how to tell what information was true and false on different websites. Knowing there are several resources available to me is what
makes it even better. Taking this feedback and applying it towards my education from here on out can benefit me in ways most people wouldn't even

Research is done everyday. Research is used in the many different situations managers encounter everyday. Research is part of the problem–solving
manager do to make decisions. Research is defined as "the process of finding solutions to problem after thorough study and analysis of the situational
factor" (Sekaran, p3, 2003). Managers use research for daily operational problem as well as bigger problems that can require hired research consultants.
Managers who use research are able to communicate with the hired consultants because they understand the process of inquiry, investigation,

Applied research is "aimed at solving a currently experienced problem" (Sekaran, p10, 2003). This research can be as simple as finding solutions to
daily operational problems.
One problem managers consistently want research on is the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty. The research found on the
relationship of customer satisfaction and loyalty spans over the past decade. Many researchers argue that there is no relationship between customer
satisfaction and loyalty while others find direct correlations between the two and a business's profitability. In Roger Hadowell's study, he defines
loyalty as both behavioral and attitude while conducting his research on a banking organization. He states that behaviors including continuance,
increased relationship, and recommendations are all behaviors of loyalty to an organization (Hadowell, 1996). His research illustrates the "relationship
of profitability to customer related outcomes that managers can influence directly" (Hadowell, 1996). His findings support the hypothesis that customer
satisfaction influences customer loyalty increasing profitability. Hadowell addresses two difficulties that he encountered during his research. First,
work with the organization in order to develop the ideal measurement system used for the research. Secondly, focus on data collected over a period of
time with strong organizations (Hadowell, 1996).

The art of writing is a complex and difficult process. Proper writing requires careful planning, revision, and proofreading. Throughout the past semester,
the quality of my writing has evolved significantly. At first, I struggled with the separation of different types of paragraphs, and I found writing them

Finding an introductory paragraph that hooks the reader can be troublesome, but throughout the course, I have spent considerable time developing
that technique. The body of my arguments each exhibit strong support for the thesis. In addition, my conclusions summarize the papers without
restating unnecessary information. Overall, my comprehension of the basic format of an argument has proved to be a valuable asset. The weakest
portion of my writing is my lack of good proofreading. All papers require a significant amount of proofreading not only for grammatical errors, but
also for structural problems. Proofreading my own work is difficult. Many times, I wrongly assume that the reader is able to understand my
thoughts, while the various points of my argument are actually not expressed clearly. In some instances, I fail to catch obvious errors, such as
sentence fragments or contractions, which I should be able to eliminate easily from my writing. Proofreading my own work has consistently been the
most difficult part of my writing process, and I continue to struggle with catching all of the errors in my papers. Analyzing my strengths and
weaknesses as a writer is extremely important. Despite the fact that I understand the structure of a good argument, I still miss obvious errors in my
