1. Descriptive Essay About My Old Room
Down four stairs, onto a landing, turn left, down nine more stairs, and you're there. You have reached the basement of my house. I have lived in
the same house since I was four, but I recently moved into the spacious bachelor pad i've created in the basement. My old room, was a small room
across the hall from my parents room. With my twin sisters getting too old to share a room like they always have, it was time for me to give up my
old room. It wasn't really the best spot to hang out with my friends, so we weren't in there much. Now, the new room is like my own studio apartment,
so we spend a lot of time down there.
The new room is half finished with rugs covering the concrete floor and posters hanging on the concrete walls. When you enter, you are swarmed
by the smell of a teenage boy (cologne, expired food and dirty clothes). To the left, you will see a beautiful couch, the one that was grubby enough
for me to take out of storage, the beautiful faded yellow color of it contrasts with the blue walls perfectly. On each end of the couch, there are small
side tables. Each one with a lamp and a black light bulb. The black lights are one of my favorite items in my room. They cause my whole room to
glow when they are on and are great for chill hangouts. On one table, there is a fish tank. My fish's name is Jeremy, but he doesn't move much. Every
now and then I tap on his glass and ask "you good?". He gets frightened by the noise and bolts away. In front of the couch, there is a coffee table
made by my Uncle Steve. He is a table maker and has made most of the tables we have in our house. An american flag pattern painted on the top
adds to the randomness of my room. I do homework on this table sometimes and use it to kick my feet up and relax. Against the wall, there is a big
brown chair. This, I did happen to have in my old room, but in there it took up half of the room. Although old and grubby, it may be the most
comfortable chair I have sat in.
Under all of the furniture, is a rug. Rug number one of two that I have in my room. Both, were taken from the attic and thrown down carelessly to give
a homely feel. The rugs have two random patterns that are not alike in any way. Hanging in between the two support

2. Descriptive Essay About My Room
"You have so much stuff," I say incredulously as I looked around his bedroom. He had a full sized bed in the center of his room that had gray
sheets and tons of white fluffy pillows. He had a thick dark gray comforter that was silky smooth to the touch and I didn't fail to sprawl myself on
his bed and mess up his perfectly made bed that surprised me the most when he brought me in here to show me his room. I didn't even make my
own bed ever. I couldn't resist messing it up. His bedroom walls were painted a navy blue which contrasted nicely with his sheets. Justin also had a
desk in the far corner of his room that had all kinds of books and papers sprawled messily on its surface, with a coffee mug most likely from this
morning sitting on it also. What was probably the most interesting to me was the shelves in his room that had items ranging on them from books,
baseball trophies, collectible figurines, awards, and other various memorabilia. You could tell his room had character from the rumpled clothes
strayed all about the room, his overflowing trash bin, the picture frames, and the way it was obvious by how his covers were slightly untucked in
one corner that making his bed was a last ditch effort. His room actually looked lived in. It had allure and was imperfect in the best way. It was

3. What Is My Room Essay
My Room Everyone likes places they can go to, to let be in a safe place. Mine may not be the prettiest, coolest, or most perfect by any means. For me it
works the best when I need breaks from my life and just relax, this is where I go to. It frees me from all the chaos in my life, and I can just let go of
things that are worrying me or things I don't need to be in my life. My safe place is my room, my go to friend when I need one, I can always rely on
my lovely room. Most rooms fit to people's personality and what they think is the best for them. I was searching ideas on how to recreate my room,
and I finally found the best theme for me and how it fit my personality. The room contains four walls, that are joined together, in a rectangle shape.
My room is the biggest one in the house, no not because I wanted this room, but because I shared it with my older sister. No the room is all mine.
Two the walls that are opposite of each other are painted "Peppered Pecan" which is a brown color, that I love so dearly. The other two walls are
painted just plain white. If dressers could talk they would tell me how much they love the color they are painted. Distressed, with brown as the base
coat, and an off white at the top, then sanded, to make the old fashion look to them. There knobs are brassy which stands out, from the off white.

4. Essay about My Bedroom
My house is quite large. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, two living rooms, a dining room, a special games room and a big front and
back garden.
My favourite rooms is my bedroom. I love it because it is the only room in my house where I can lock myself away from the rest of the world. After a
long day, all i want to do is go up tom my cosy bedroom and either listen to some mellow music, or lie down, unwind and watch a bit of T.V or maybe
even a relaxing film.

My favourite thing to do in my bedroom is jump on my bed and once when my friends came to sleep over we had a game to see who could jump
and make their head touch the ceiling and naturally I won but my little sister would burst in without knocking and see what we was doing and
ofcourse the first thing she did was say " Im telling mum" in her little whining annoying voice and run down the stair and tell my mum. So it was a
long time i had to wait to have another sleepover.
In the corner you can see the fairies and pixies fighting over the pizza i was eating yesterday which is infact my favourite food. The design of the rooms
is very unique like everything has been put in a place for a reason. The oldest think i can remember here is the sofa which i bought 2 years ago. I
remember when we first bought it, the smile on my face and the arguing between my dad and brother. "Go left, Go left" he would yell. Ahh good
times. It used to be clean but the constant food i would eat on it could have changed that. Like most teenagers i have many posters on my walls
mostly of role models that I admire, favourite teams and a few cute girls here and there. The most visible thing here is probably the red carpet that
covers the bedroom as far as your eyes can see. In the corner of my bedroom is my desk which I normally do all of my homework and assignments, On
top of it sat my computer which is always on. My previous desk somehow broke and

5. Essay on The Waiting Room- Creative Writing
The waiting room was still and quiet except for the hypnotic tick of the old plastic clock hanging on the wall. A smell evoking images of latex
gloves and mouthwash hung in the air, as the dentist worked behind the closed door. The little boy across the room fidgeted uncontrollably while his
mother chose to ignore it. Her face was drawn and pale. Her hands were placed on top of her lap and she wrung them continuously. She wore baggy
red patterned trousers, a multi–coloured striped jumper and on her head was a faded red bandana, firmly sealed over a mass of scruffy brown curls.
The child's brown hair stuck out in all directions. His coat was dated, his tracksuit bottoms gathered around his ankles, and...show more content...
Slowly, the gossip calmed and again the only noise in the waiting room was the hypnotic tick of the clock. Minutes passed by and it wasn't long
before the scruffy lady and her little boy stepped out of the dentist's room and made their way to the secretary's desk. The secretary looked up. "Can I
help you?" she enquired. The lady didn't answer but gazed out of the window behind the desk; her big brown eyes were shallow and empty. Her little
boy began to tug on her jumper, "Mummy...the lady...Mummy!" Themother soon snapped out of her daze and scanned the secretary's face. "Oh I'm
sorry, I got lost in my thoughts then." She apologised. They arranged appointment for the little boy in a week's time, and quickly made their way
towards the door.
As they stepped outside, they were hit by a cool blast of wind. Leaves swirled around them and there was a slight chill in the air. The trees swayed
gently in the breeze and their golden leaves glistened in the sun. The mother took the little boys hand and made their way to the town's park. The park
was scattered with children playing in the playground, and mothers sat on the surrounding benches gossiping. Their clothes were tidy and smart; most
of the children and their mothers resembled an advertisement for "Gap" or "Next". The

Terrified beyond belief as I fall, i hit the carpet with a soft thud, and turn enough to see you stand to your mesmerizing full height, laughing. You turn

Alone, in carpet fibers up to my knees, I stay still. You'll come back, right? I wonder.* PRINCESS!!!! *I shout out, and I wait, as the light slowly
fades from the room, and all that is left to illuminate your bedroom is the light flooding in from a crack in the door to the bathroom that you absent

nearly an hour before, in the darkness, the cord begins to slip. I'm in free fall, my pathetic life flashing before my eyes, dying on the cord of a laptop
before I'm jolted back to reality. I slide a few inches down the cord as it stops, and sweaty and panting, I race to the top. I discover the connector, twice

my ankles around the cold metal that connected the chair together, I grabbed his hand, and held it tightly. Gazing at his resting face, his glasses off,

9. Descriptive Essay About My Room
We all have a place to sleep, and no I'm not talking about your car, or the couch at a friend's house, I'm talking about a bedroom. A bedroom, is
obviously a room with a bed in it, but it can be much more than that.
Bedrooms are a place which people keep most of their belongings, a private space. I personally don't like people going into my room, because I have
everything in a certain place and if it gets moved I'll take forever to find it. Most people have a closet to store all their clothes and anything else they
would need to store.
When I was in elementary school I had to share a bedroom with my brother, he's 2 years younger than me, and it wasn't a very pleasant experience.
There was always someone bothering me or getting into my business. I could never have any privacy or quiet time. So, when I got the chance to get
my own bedroom in middle school, I was thrilled at the idea.
My bedroom is a small 12 by 14–foot room. That may sound like it's a big room, but trust me it's quite tiny. It's much more than just your regular,
boring bedroom, it's MY bedroom. For starters the house I live in is my mom's house. It was built in 1890 and it has some quirks like any old house
does.
My room has more windows than any other room in my house. It has 3 windows, one on each of the 3 outside walls. Each window a different size,
and different positions on the walls. Its ceiling surprisingly low for a bedroom, and walls painted a charcoal gray and made from a thin plaster.

drawers. The drawers are completely filled with possessions I have kept over the years. I always enjoy going through them. Usually, I find really old
toys I used to play with when I was younger. Sometimes, when I am lucky,
I even find some money. My mother always scolds me about my messy drawers. She says it should have been cleaned up long ago, but I could

Colors & balance Contemporary designs emphasize the idea of balance, and one of the biggest ways to establish balance is through colors. The main
aim is to get a color scheme with some degree of vibrancy and variance, and at the same time, one wouldn't want a room with too many shades and
tones.
Furniture & efficiency When choosing furniture, one soon realizes that there a number of options. The search will help to see that there is no such
thing as a distinct contemporary style. The design concept is vague enough to accommodate a variety of preferences, whether you prefer items that are
ornate or minimal. With a balance of color, light, and minimalism, any furniture can complement a contemporary style.

16. Descriptive Essay On Living In A Room
Living in a Dorm Room While most freshman choose to live in a dorm room their first year of college, there can be some negative and positive
outcomes when living with someone else. It can be hard to cope with the other person or it can be easy to cope with the other person you are sharing
a room with. Sometimes on the other hand, it can easily become dramatically annoying, difficult, and disruptive to others in the room, like I think it
did to me. Although I do believe living in a dorm can be much of a transformation from living in a house, every college student, like I did last year,
has to experience the part of living in a dorm. Or experience being in a dorm room at one point during their college experience, if he/she chooses to
go the college route. Last year, while living in a college dorm at my other college before I became a transfer student, I had to share my room with
one other girl that was a thrower in Track and Field, who was all muscle and about a foot taller than me topping off at probably 6'3". I was terrified
of her, if I did something wrong or if I said something wrong in general, she would have probably kicked my butt, literally. So, I decided from the
first time I saw her to keep things to myself and mind my own opinion, of course not telling her my point of view on everything she did wrong,
because I did not want to get hurt. It all started when she never cleaned up after herself, which made it very easy for me to become annoyed by her and
