Persuasive Speech On Tablets Vs Textbooks
In the United States alone over 2,300 school districts are using tablets in the classroom and growing better than ever. That's pretty interesting fact I'm a
highschool student that this subject pertains to, I want my education to be the best that it can be and I have an educated opinion that I would like to
share with you. Education is the driving factor of our future so don't you want to make sure that it's the best that it can be? If so, then we're on the
same page. The issue whether tablets or textbooks is a huge decision for us. As I speak I ask you to decide for yourself which tool you would consider.
I believe that schools should use tablets for the K–12th grade instead of textbooks because it's more beneficial to the schools and therefore better for

Now let's talk about the first of these points: Safety, tablets are safer for children in K–12th grade for many reasons first of all textbooks cause injuries

Not Enough Sleep Here's a look into an average high school classroom during first period. Kids are slowly shuffling in, reluctant to take their seats.
Some grip their coffee cups, depending on those 2 cups of caffeine to get them through the day. Others have given up completely, with their head on

As a person gets older, the amount of sleep needed each night gets less. Teenagers are an exception to that rule. The years from 15 to 18 packs on a
whole new level of stress. Exams, homework, after school clubs, jobs, college, relationships, it's all running through our heads at every second of
every day. With a jammed packed schedule, hormones running wild, and teachers loading up the work, we could use some slack. If that could
come in the form of a better night's sleep, we'd be eternally grateful. This schedule change might impact after school sports and clubs, but not by
much. It would only involve starting games and practices an hour later, a mere cost for that extra hour of sleep. The bus drivers would simply
switch which kids they pick up first. The parents would be grateful to have their little kids out of the house earlier. The students would reap the
benefits in their test scores. The small price for this change would benefit everyone. The hours of school should be changed. Let's be thoughtful
towards teenagers and give them an extra hour of sleep each night. It won't hurt the younger kids to get up earlier, as most of them wake up at dawn
anyway. Unless you want to see groggy kids walking into school, who pulled all nighters studying, and can't stay awake long enough to take their test.

Schools have been using the same learning techniques for a long time. Since technology has been evolving, there are changes that have made
schooling harder, and some changes that have made schooling easier. For example, instead of using paper and pencil students now have iPads and
their own laptops to do their school work on. Are these more advanced changes for the better, and make learning more convenient, or are they

Yes, I understand that sometimes I need more help on certain topics and sometimes students do need more help with something, but I think that
teachers should still have more of a limit to how much homework they can assign, given the fat that they are only one of the seven other classes we
have to take and that's not including other out–of–school activities and clubs we are taking part in.
Along with homework being too repetitive, it can also be damaging to our physical and mental health. Fow example, sleep. So many students, not

Persuasive communication is directly involved in education. Teachers have to be persuasive or the students won't learn. Authority is a defining concept
that must be utilized in education, or the system cannot run properly. Authority manifests itself in several ways within the education system for an
