2. In the process of making my music magazine I
have used
Blogger, InDesign, Slideshare, Dafont.com, digita
l camera, and Photoshop.
3. I used blogger as a way to keep track and post my analysis and
actual magazine on. I had never used Blogger before but it was
fairly straight forward and presented my work in a
neat, organised way.
I used InDesign to create my magazine, it was simple to use once
I got the hang of all the tools necessary to use. I learnt how to
add in texts, photos, backgrounds, edit around with my work and
make it look how I want it to.
4. I used a programme on the internet called SlideShare. This allowed me to put
my powerpoint presentations onto the web successfully.
I only had to create an account then I was ready to use it.
I used a website called DaFont to download fonts to put on my magazine. It
was good as the site had a huge variety of effective fonts I could’ve used
which would’ve gave my magazine the right connotation of rebellion and
anarchy/rough.
I also used a Pentax camera to take the pictures. I used that camera as it was
more professional than your standard camera and it captured detail a lot
more efficiently. It also had a variety of different settings I could’ve used to
suit the picture being taken.
5. Finally, I also used Photoshop to edit the pictures. I have used Photoshop
many times before so I was comfortable to edit the pictures there.
I edited contrast, hue, saturation and brightness in some pictures to make
them look more effective as magazine pictures.
