WHAT IS ROBOTS ?
 A robot is a machine –especially programmed by a
computer
 It’s capable of carrying out of serious of action
automatically.
 Robots that’s look a human is probably the most
difficult to make
 A robot need to be all functional designed with
qualities that suits it’s primary tasks.
 Robots can be do anything , find in any ware, any
sizes

 Mobile robots
 Rolling Robots
 Walking Robots
 Stationary Robots
 Autonomous Robots
 Remote Control Robots
 Virtual Robots
 BEAM Robots

MOBILE ROBOTS…
 Usually Able to move
 Perform Task such as search Area
 Mass Explorer.(Designed to roam the mass surface
 Great help to collapsed building for survivors,
where people can’t go

STATIONARY ROBOTS
 It’s perform repeating tasks without ever moving
and inch.
 Mostly in industry setting.
 Specially dull and repeating tasks are suitable for
these robots

TYPES OF MOBILE ROBOTS…
 Walking Robots:
 Robots that have legs.
 Robots have hard time shifting balance and keep them
from tumbling.
 Usually have 6 Legs or more…
 Rolling Robots :
 Have wheels to move around.
 Can quickly and easily search move around.
 Useful in flat areas, rocky terrains.
 Flat terrains are their territory.

AUTONOMOUS ROBOTS
 Self supporting / self contained
 These robots even learn new behaviour. They start
out with a short routine to be more successful
 They can learn to walk or avoid obstacles they find
in there way.

REMOTE CONTROL ROBOTS
 Very clever and intelligent unit.
 They memory and brain capacity is usually limited.
 Can be compared to an insect in that respect.
 Complicated tasks are still best performed by
human beings with real brain power.
 A person can guide a robot by remote control
 It can perform difficult and dangerous tasks.
 To detonate a bomb
 (Eg: Dante 02)

VIRTUAL ROBOTS
 Don’t exits in real life.
 Virtual robots are just programs , building software
inside a computer.
 Eg: Webcrewling robots
Chatter bot (ELIZA),(E.L.V.I.S)

BEAM ROBOTS
 Made by hobbyists
 Can be simple and very suitable for starters
 BEAM is ……
