I did research about storyboards and whats the purpose of storyboards while making a scene for amovie.

What are storyboards?:
A storyboards is a graphic organizer that consists of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-
visualizing a motion picture, animation, motion graphic in interactive media sequence.

What storyboard include:
It's made up of a number of squares with illustrations or pictures representing each shot, with notes about what's going on in the
scene and what's being said in the script during that shot.

Why is it used?:
A visual aid makes it much easier for you to share and explain your vision for your video with others.
We’ve all had experiences where we were trying to explain something and the other person just can’t see your vision. The core
of this issue is that most stakeholders don’t have the experience of visualizing something off of a text deliverable, such as a
script.
When you have a storyboard, you can show people exactly how your video is going to be mapped out and what it will look like.
This makes it infinitely easier for other people to understand your idea.

2. Examples
The example that I’m showing is from a Spiderman
2 movie in 2004, as you can see these are
animation storyboards they draw the scenes out
into an animation to see what the scene is going to
be played out and if the animators and producers
of the film liked it, they will put it into the film.

3. Another example is from Batman: The Animated Series, this
one is different than the last one because its mapped out in
painstaking detail by the storyboard artist. The storyboard
shows exactly where Batman flies into the scene, how each
punch connects with or misses its target, and where
lightning – like the moon, or various spotlights – is used
throughout the scene. All of which helps the team to speed
up video production.

4. The last example that I want to show
you is The Adventure Time storyboard,
this one is totally different because its
highly detailed-storyboards, which
break the scene down into its core
elements: dialogue, action, and timing.
It’s super-specific, freeing things up for
the fun to continue.
