Senior Enlisted Leader at three Medical Centers serving as Army E8 senior Non-Commission Officer (NCOIC) of the Public
Health/Preventive Medicine (PH/PM) encompassing Environmental Health, Clinical Preventive Medicine, Radiation
Protection/Health Physics, Safety, Occupational Health, Public Health Nursing and Industrial Hygiene. Department
administrator, manager and leader for 80-90 military and civilian personnel at each Medical Center.
Preventive Medicine Detachment NCOIC 1999-2005
Additional experience includes field combat operations during OIF 1, 2003/4 ensuring safe PM climate during the occupation
of 101st Airborne Division in support of combat operations in Iraq. Investigations and monitoring includes air, water, soil, ice,
disease vectors,safe building occupation, unapproved source food investigations, communicable disease,and inspections of
area rest and recuperation (R&R) areas. In garrison trained over 3000 soldiers on field sanitation for deployments and
conducted country threat briefs for deploying Brigade Combat Teams.
