1. WORK EXPERIENCE
„Elixir Zorka-Mineralna đubriva“ is a plant for production of the different mineral fertilizers, which
capacity is 1000 t/day. It was investment worth about 40 million euros. Basic engineering and
equipement were delivered by french company CFIh, installation of equipment, pipelines, pipe bridges,
transport of energy, the construction of additional facilities etc. have been done by domestic companies.
During investment, I was a member of the project team, which has been led by director of project and
general manager. As the only person with a valid certificate of mechanical engineering, I was the
supervisory authority for all mechanical works.
As I said, basic engineering was delivered by French company CFIh, but procurement of equipment and
materials have been performing by our procurement office and technical department with the approval
of CFIh, which included frequent trips to determine the quality of equipment and materials.
Because the investment was financed by the credit and the budget was limited, we must take care about
costs and risks, apropos all parameters that could affect the cost reduction. It required strict compliance
monitor and manage the project plan, project schedule, project budget and project risks, in order to
implement the project within the deadline, to perform quality work and to avoid breaking the budget
limit.
Because there was a lot of contractors, there was and many different problems, from delays of
equipment and materials to the breakdown of the term of the plan and they had to be urgently resolved.
The investment is required daily communication with CFIh (receiving, keeping, maintaining and sending
of technical documentation etc.), with contractors (do they respect the term plan, pointing out the
failures during execution etc.) and steering committee (inform them about investment, strategic issues,
breaking the budget limit etc.). Due to scope of investment meetings with constructors, designers,
members of project team etc. were often held.
I own licenses authorized designer and contractor of thermal technique, thermal energetic, process and
gas technique, which require a minimum of 5 years of professional experience with HVAC, gas, oil, etc. I
have been working design and construction of gas installations more than 10 years, so it's one of my
most important task during the investment was supplying gas plant, which included making gas
distribution network, measuring and regulating stations and gas distribution to all consumers (infra red
heaters (IC), gas burner „OILON“-2,5 MW, gas burner „SAACKE“-11,5 MW).
Because the works related to gas as well as all other mechanical works successfully completed, the plant
was put into operation, I believe that I improve very much my professional experience.
I am still in the field of the distribution and consumption of gas, as the Manager of the boiler station for
steam production (3,5 t/h). This position includes consideration of the validity of complete gas
installation (pipelines, valves, flow meters, pressure regulators, etc.), monitoring parameters related to
gas (temperature, pressure, etc.), frequent communication with the distributor of gas "SRBIJAGAS",
reducing gas consumption while at the same time not jeopardizing the production of steam, frequent
communication with services of equipment for gas, everyday sending reports related to the consumption
of gas, steam production, etc. to Director of Production and the Managing Board.
I think that I successfully perform this tasks and on that way I significantly improve my professional
experience related to the distribution and consumption of gas, that you will use.
