Supervised 5 AAV mechanics in maintaining 12 AAV'S worth $30,000,000 dollars by performing
preventative maintenance 24 times and 150 corrective maintenance actions to include changing fluids,
oil, filters, hoses, suspension, transmissions, and engine packs.
Supervised the completion of 14 Limited Technical Inspections (LTI's) and scheduled, tracked, and
conducted 33 Annual/Semi-Annual Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services on 14 AAV's by
flushing all fluids and replaced 50 seals, 2 exhaust manifolds, 3 turbo chargers, 200 filters, filled the
engines and transmission with new oil and reinstalled them back into the vehicles in 80 weeks.
Conducting 6 land operations with 13 AAVP7s and 1 AAVC7 and accomplished all missions with a
92.8% readiness rate and confirmed receipt for 269 PEB, corrective maintenance parts.
Assisted in the supervision of timely and accurate maintenance documentation using Oracle GCSS-
MC and conducted quarterly inventories on 17 tool kits and 154 items of equipment.
Supervised 10 service requests ordering over $10,000 in vehicle replenishments and conducted 3
annual and 5 semi-annual preventive maintenance, checks and services.
Saved $24,076.71 by rebuilding 13 salvaged parts to repair vehicles to an operational status and
coordinated with the communications, weld and machine shops to facilitate higher echelon of
maintenance repair and manage all input and output forms and reports for the Marine Corps Integrated
Maintenance Management System (MIMMS) and GCSS.
