FIRST RESPONDERS
UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Capitol Technology University will offer a
$5,000 scholarship to children of first
responders or of courageous responders that
have given their life in the line of duty, 18-26
years of age. These funds may be used toward
any full-time undergraduate degree program of
study on campus at the university and the award
is renewable up to a total of $20,000 over four
years, contingent upon good academic standing.
To be eligible for the First Responders Undergraduate
Scholarship Program you must:
• Be considered a first-time, fulltime freshman or fulltime
transfer student between the ages of 18-26 years old;
• Be a legal dependent of an active duty first responder
(to be verified each academic year) or of a courageous
responder who has given their life in the line of duty; and
• Complete and submit the undergraduate admissions
application, a personal essay, supporting documents,
official employment documentation of a first responder
and meet all university entrance requirements.
