Achievements
RMIT University Thesis February 2013 – December 2013
Scope: Study and production of a Thesis on the topic of: “The Effects of Climate Change on Residential Footing
design and construction”. Thesis focused on key areas that are problematic in the engineering industry such as
collected data from BoM and poor minimal design in the engineering field, followed by unexpected events of
weather.
Achievement: The research and production of the thesis deemed a high distinction and provided solutions to
the problem put forward.
Expression of Interest ‘Melbourne Metro 1’ July 2013 – November 2013
Scope: Submit a tender for the ‘MM1’ project now known as ‘Melbourne Rail Link’ & present to government
panel & engineering & construction directors. Tender of MM1 included 5 new stations, in which areas of design,
construction, operations, management financial & legal were addressed individually detailed in the tender.
Achievement: Final EOI project & Presentation was awarded a high distinction and viewed as one of the most
innovative in design & ideas. Overall presentation and EOI document was chosen in the top 3 contestants.
Sustainable Infrastructure Design Project July 2012 – November 2012
Scope: Development of a ‘Think Green’ residential home with design specifications allocated by ‘City of
Monash’. Objective and strategic thinking in structural analysis and overall design to achieve an overall ‘Think
green’ efficient residential structure. Aim of project to minimize impact on the environment.
Achievement: Design of home successful obtaining an overall 5 star energy rating of a sustainable home.
Project design of ‘Think Green’ sustainable residential design achieved a distinction.
