1. Bob Press
My career started back in 1976 influenced by a cousin who inspired me about the hair
industry.
I had the great opportunity to start out apprenticing for a my first mentor Jack Panico Sr.
Jack had the ability to inspire young talent and to create motivation to participate in hair
cutting workshops and to teach us to challenge ourselves. Through the workshops it
became more than cutting hair, the workshops were about marketing, competing in
competitions which I was able to be successful. I had the opportunity to train with
Maurice Tidy, Max Pappais, Annie Humphries, and host of others in the Vidal Sassoon
culture in the UK.
Those experiences and influences had a positive direction on my career!
