What is CV (curriculum vitae) ?
CV (curriculum vitae) A curriculum vitae, often shortened
to CV, is a Latin term meaning “course of life.” A CV is a
detailed professional document highlighting a person’s
experience and accomplishments. Employers often require
a CV when considering applications. This document shares
an overview of your career history, education, relevant
awards and honors, scholarships, grants, research, projects
and publications.

Differences between CV and Resume
Length: A resume is a concise or short
document.
It contains one or two pages only.
A CV can run several pages in length.
Because a CV includes more information than
a resume.
Experience /career type: CV’s are used by
people in academic roles. You may have a CV
if you are currently applying to or have
graduated from a masters or doctoral program.
