SLPs
• Numerous studies have explored the rate of agreement
between teachers and SLPs about who should receive
speech services (Friberg, 2008).
Diehl & Sinnet (1959) – 60%

• On average, teachers- SLP agreement is 60%.
• Research indicates that 40% of students who should be
referred are not (Mosheim, 2009)
