I train teachers and Learning Support Assistants to deliver the Thinking Reading programme effectively, analyse students' responses and adjust teaching to maximize progress. I advise teachers and schools on effective literacy teaching and systems. I have developed Thinking Reading - a high-impact reading intervention that enables secondary school students to make rapid and sustained progress against objective measures. I have been a literacy teacher with many years of experience in setting up and managing literacy centres in secondary schools in NZ and London, UK.
