This document describes a check in/check out system using facial recognition for student attendance. The system was developed to address problems with the current manual system of tracking student attendance using signatures. It uses facial recognition at the campus entrance to identify students as they enter or leave. It then sends a message to registered parent phone numbers with the student's name, timestamp, and in/out status. This allows parents to know their child's whereabouts and ensures student safety while building trust between the school and parents. The system stores student details and facial encodings in a database for matching against live images at the entrance for attendance tracking.
3. INTRODUCTION
The "Check In Check Out System" has been developed to override the
problems prevailing in day to day life. Every parent should leave their child at a
particular time for their higher studies. Before that parent’s care on their child
very highly lovable. Once they leave their child for their studies in the colleges,
parents also get missing their child and thinking about them whether eaten or
not? whether learning good or not? But without intimation their child went
out of the campus. If they went for good thing it is accepted. The organization
also lost their trust from the parents of the child when if child doing some
unwanted things outside the campus.This software is supported to
organizations reputation, increase trust for parents and ensures students
safety.
4. Present Situation
Student’s in and out flow done by doing signatures at the entrance of the gate.
This leads to students involved in mis-activities and other problems.
6. Solution
Whenever student wants to go out of the campus or
come into the campus, student need to give his facial
attendance at main entrance using this software.
A message will be sent to registered mobile number
(We use Parent mobile number for conveying student
status to their parents which contains the name of
the student, time stamp, status of presence/absence
of the student.

Check In Check Out systems are part of facial image processing
applications and their significance as a research area are
increasing recently. Implementations of system are crime
prevention, video surveillance, person verification, and similar
security activities. The face recognition system
implementation can be part of universities. The aim is to
automate and make a system that is useful to the organization
such as an institute. This application ensures the students
safety and university reputation. To share instant information
about the student to their parent
