1. Project Title:EcoFit
Project group names: Sean Hurley and Barry O’Driscoll
Overview
EcoFit was the name of our ‘BiketoCollege’ campaign. Incorporating
the slogan ‘Improve Yourself and Your Planet’ we looked to reduce
the number of students that live within 3km of IT Carlow who
commute via car and promote Cycling through social media and
other platforms.
Project
EcoFit’s aims were too simultaneously improve students physical and
mental health and improve our Planets eco-system by reducing the
number of cars commuting to IT Carlow each day and encouraging
students to cycle.

How do we get to campus?

Conclusion
EcoFit’s campaign ‘Improve Yourself and Your
Planet was a success as more students
commuted to IT Carlow via bikes thus
improving their physical and mental health,
also being environmentally friendly.
