• Mushroom is a fungi producing a fleshy fruiting body, especially one consisting of a
stalk with an umbrella cap
• It has two part : cap like structure is known as pileus, attached with thread like
structure mycelia.

• Mushrooms are low in calories, high in fiber, and contain many important vitamins
and minerals. Some also have medicinal properties such as complex
carbohydrates that strengthen the immune system.

Simply remove the gills, clean and marinate in diluted soy
sauce ( for an hour or so, then drain. The mushrooms can
be sliced or left whole. Bake until tender, then place in a
food dryer/dehydrator until dry

onions, or seasoned with a variety of herbs or spices, like
garlic.
A blend of finely ground dried mushrooms and coarsely-
ground sea salt is a popular item at farmer’s markets
