BSHS CERISE INFORMATION:
BSHS Cerise (Milind Bordia, Félix Hall, Joel Woodfield and Nandish Singh) is a close team
of Year 9 students who have taken a step into the world of robotics and problem solving
through the First Lego League Animal Allies international competition (view the Australian

competition). This team, despite only being a robotics team, has gone through many
changes, struggles and triumphs in order to become what it is today. After winning the
innovative solution award at their first ever regional competition, BSHS Cerise were
fortunate enough to attend the National competition at Sydney on the 10th
of December 2016.
Furthermore, after competing against 40 other teams all across Australia they were
nominated to attend the highest level of the competition, the Asia Pacific Open Invitational
Championships. Although the title creates the assumption that the attendants of such
competition are only from the Asia Pacific region, the reality includes attendants from all
parts of the world. Through the support from generous sponsors this hard-working team
strives to represent Australia at this competition at finest qualities and publish their solutions
to the world.
TEAM BSHS CERISE ACHIEVEMENTS:
Here are some achievements in chronological order thus far in the FLL 2016/17 Animal Allies
Competition:
- Founded on the 22nd
of September 2016
- Created their first prototype mobile application for Regional Competition in Brisbane.
- Received professional feedback from app developers
- Prepared presentation, posters and a robot for the Regional Competition
- Got awarded the ‘innovative award’ for having created a working prototype app to the
solution they were working on
- Received exceptional results for all areas of the Regional competition
- Got nominated to attend the Australian Nationals on the 10th
of December 2016 in Sydney.
- Received numerous results from a public survey referring to their mobile application as well
as feedback which was implemented towards improving it,
- Prepared presentation, posters and promotional objects for National Competition
- Attended the Australian National Competition in Sydney
- Got awarded the ‘Gracious Professionalism Award’ at the National Competition and got
invited to attend the Asia Pacific Invitational Championship (which is the highest level in
the competition one can be invited to attend) again at Macquarie University, Sydney.

BENEFITS OF SPONSORSHIP FOR BSHS CERISE:
It is absolutely imperative that BSHS Cerise receives sponsorship, in order to attend the
International championship. Financial sponsorship will mainly contribute towards publishing
BSHS Cerise’s app and to pay for travel and competition costs. The money (generously supplied
by sponsors) will go towards the following:
- Travel Costs
- Publication of app
- Paid subscription for app development program
- Professional Video for presentation and promotion of app
- The production of marketing products such as business cards, pamphlets, posters, etc.
- Australian iconic items to share with the 25 other countries
- Banners/Boards with solutions renders and sponsor logos.
- Team uniforms - shirts, embroidery, screen-printing, etc.
- Key-rings, keychains.
- BSHS Cerise products to be displayed in pit display - sponsor will be notified first and must
approve of the product that their money is going towards,
In-kind sponsors will supply BSHS Cerise with goods/services from their business/organisation
such as Australian iconic objects/items, t-shirts, merchandise, etc. BSHS Cerise needs a team
uniform as well as relevant items to represent themselves to the wider world. Australian iconic
items would be a highly appreciated and appropriate since the team will be representing Australia.
Merchandise and uniforms will also have the BSHS Cerise logo on them so as to assist with the
team's marketing.
Media/promotional sponsors will aid BSHS Cerise by promoting their app throughout Australia.
This can be done through different forms of promotion within the sponsor’s business. This would be
highly beneficial as it would enable BSHS Cerise to achieve the main purpose behind the
publication of their mobile application as well as providing an opportunity to gain further sponsors.
BENEFITS OF SPONSORSHIP FOR SPONSOR:
All BSHS Cerise's sponsors, regardless of the size of the contribution, will be recognised in the
International level of competition along with a statement of thanks. The sponsor’s logo will be
displayed on any created videos as well as a banner in the team's pit area. Sponsor logos may also
appear on flyers, cards, pamphlets, posters, the team uniform and more.
Items that the sponsor contributed towards the production of essential marketing tactics such as
business cards, pamphlets, posters, portfolios, etc. if possible will include the sponsor’s logo and a
statement of thanks.
Another benefit for the sponsor when choosing to sponsor BSHS Cerise is that people from all over
the world will be attending the competition. Hence sponsoring BSHS Cerise is an efficient and cost
effective method of promoting the sponsor’s business internationally. Due to such, it becomes
evident that sponsoring BSHS Cerise is a mutually beneficial agreement.

SPONSORSHIP RETURN ON INVESTMENT:
Competing in this competition is not cheap at all! At the national level of the First Lego League Animal
Allies Competition, the total expenses came to a rough grand total of $1000. A large portion was payed
through personal money. Please, no amount is too big (definitely not a problem) or too small. As a
team, appreciation and recognition will be given towards all forms of sponsorship no matter the type or
amount. However the amount of recognition your business/company receives does depend on the
amount of sponsorship. There are four levels of sponsorship for BSHS Cerise, there are the following
placed in ascending order: bronze, silver, gold and platinum. All sponsors receive their logo as well as a
statement of thanks in the designated sections of the team’s website, social media sites and the team’s
presentations. Sponsorship of higher values will be recognised further, such as on team BSHS Cerise’s
robot, posters, team uniform, pit display, app and more.
Sponsorship for BSHS Cerise may be provided on a variety of levels as mentioned previously. It is
for this reason that sponsors selecting media/promotional sponsorship will all be categories into
the according level depending on their level of contribution. Note that sponsors selecting such
sponsorships will be notified which level they fall into. Furthermore it has also come to BSHS
Cerise’s attention that long-term sponsors may add their values that they have sponsored through
the competition, in order to be recognised accordingly for their long-term support and
contributions to the team.

Presentation
During their Project and Core Values judging session, BSHS Cerise will give a presentation. The
sponsor’s logo will be visible and will be mentioned during the presentations to the judges and to
any other audience present.
Social Media Accounts
The sponsor’s logo and information will be posted on all of BSHS Cerise’s social media accounts.
This will be visible to all who view such accounts.
Videos
The sponsor’s logo will receive a dedicated time and mention of thanks within all videos created by
BSHS Cerise. Videos will be displayed in the pit area, throughout our presentations and some will
be posted to the wider public to view.
Website
The sponsor’s logo and information will be posted on BSHS Cerise’s website in a designated area.
This will be visible to all who view the website.
App
BSHS Cerise’s app, SwoopAlert!, will shortly be put on the App Store and Google Play Store once
completed. Due to this and its very vast demographic, the app will be available to people all around
the nation. The sponsor’s logo and information will be placed in a designated area, along with a
blurb about the sponsor.
Pit Display
The pit display will be viewed by bypassing people at the International Competition. The sponsor’s
logo will be included on BSHS Cerise’s banners and posters which will be hung at such location.
Brochure
The brochure will be handed out to as many people possible at the International Competition, with
the sponsor’s logo on it. If possible, a short blurb will be entered about the sponsor in a designated
section on the brochure.
Team Uniform
BSHS Cerise will be wearing a uniform for the International Competition, which will have the
sponsor’s logo imprinted on it. This will be visible to all attending the Competition.
Australian Iconic Item(Gift Pack)
Australian iconic items such as stress-boomerangs or stress-cricket-balls will be offered and
distributed throughout the event. The sponsors logo will be clearly displayed on either of these and
will be easily noticeable by all attending the competition. In-kind sponsorship for this item would
be greatly appreciated.
