Air pollution is most important from the public

Aqua silencer is an attempt ,which is mainly
dealing with control of emission &noise

Because of this property water is used in this
silencer &hence its name Aqua silencer.
This mainly because of small sprockets in water
molecules, thus lowers the sound level.

we cannot ignore the harmful effects of the large
mass of the burnt gases, which erodes the purity of
environment .
This Aqua Silencer is an attempt to reduce the
toxic content before it is emitted to the

tank containing an alkaline, the temperature of the
gases is reduced.
A lime stone contained scrubber tank reduces
the percentage of so2.
For measuring the contents of the exhaust gas,
samples are taken between scrubber inlet & outlet.

The exhaust gas contains Co2, So2, Co and
temperatures between 500°c to 700°c.
The pressure of exhaust gas depends on:
*Engine speed
*No of cylinders&
*Magnitude of valve.

in the scrubber tank.
This may create chances to increase the
backpressure.
Due to high temperature of the water particles
which come in contact changes its phase to gaseous
state
10. CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES:
It consists of perforated tube installed at the
end of exhaust pipe.
It has holes of different diameters to break
up gas mass to small gas bubbles.
The other end of tube is closed by plug.
The whole unit is then placed in water container.

As the exhaust gases enters the tube it converts
high mass bubbles to low mass bubbles.
After they pass through charcol layer which again
purify the gases.
Finally exhaust gas escapes into atmosphere.

negligible in aqua silencer.
It is smokeless & pollution free emission
equalent to the conventional silencer.
