1. How does your media product represent
particular social groups?

Media representations are the ways in which
the media portrays particular groups,
communities, experiences, ideas, or topics from
a particular ideological or value perspective.

2. • The old style buildings and rural setting suggest
the representation of the country side.

3. • The quite setting and a strange lack of people suggest the
slow easy going life of the area. This was meant to represent
country life, however may suggest otherwise as there is
usually a feeling of togetherness found in the regular country
life which is not found in this film. This is done deliberately as
it shows the abnormality of the event happening in this sort
of area.

4. • This scene shows the slow pace of life within the area. There
is no sense of urgency in the film which is supported with the
slow pace editing , This all suggest the representation of the
rural country side against the urgent fast paced city life.

5. • The film attempts to represent a country side lifestyle
however the use of a Black character is used to suggest that
the events taking place are not common everyday ones. It is
stereotypical that not too many black people are found living
in the Cotswold, so this character helps to convey the
strangeness of the transpiring events
