2. Raised in Naples, Florida, a town of tremendous
wealth, where it’s commonplace for kids to have
things handed to them, I never felt that I fit. It
wasn’t until middle school that I realized I never
would. In a place where money and material goods
were everything, I just wanted to make music and

potential expands well beyond singing karaoke and
