2. Jason Máson to The Joker
For our character Jason, we tried our best to train our actor to perform just like ‘The Joker’
from Batman. Our actor found it quite easy to replicate the characteristics of The Joker as he
wasn't a stranger to the characteristics and background of the joker. Our actor performed
excellently to show the craziness of the original Joker
From the pictures above, you can see that we used make-up and hairspray to the best of our
advantage to actually replicate the image of the Joker
3. Annabel to Casey Becker
For our character Annabel, we wanted her to conform to the characteristics of Casey
Becker from scream. In scream, Casey Becker performed accurately to ‘a damsel in distress’.
You can see from the 2 pictures that the actions of both characters
are very identical. We tried our best to replicate Casey Becker, however,
the only difference is that we didn’t give Annabel the ability to fight back
like Casey did in scream.
Overall, I believe we replicated the stereotype of ‘a damsel in distress’
excellently.
4. Christina to Pepper Potts
For Christina, we tried our best to
replicate Pepper from Iron man. We
failed to actually follow the
characteristics of pepper and
constructed a totally different
character. We were able show
dominance is Christina by her
actually killing the antagonist. We
successful portrayed the stereotype of
Pepper Potts subverting women
having power. We dressed our
character quite professionally to
conform to Pepper’s representation.
5. Bryson to Clark Kent
We failed to replicate Clark
Kent through Bryson. Our
reasons for this is because,
last minute we decided that
Bryson is knocked out after
a seeing Jason and that
Christina “saves” the day at
the end by shooting him. We
also failed to replicate the
figure of superman,
Powerful and Noble,
whereas, Bryson is weak
and vulnerable.
One thing that was
successful was replicate his
image. Our character has
dark hair and clothing just
like Clark in the picture.
