Objective:
The main Objective of this work is to Experimentally Investigate the role of MQL and Dry
machining in turning 16MnCr5 & EN8 in terms of economy, Quality, Time required.
Scope:
MQL Set-up is used on all Machine Tools such as Lathe Machine.
Brief Procedure:
In this the theoretical study of various research papers, problem definition and methodology has
been done & the setup of MQL (Minimum Qty Lubrication) is established so as to
Experimentally investigate the role of MQL, Dry, Flooded on Cutting temperature, tool wear,
tool life, surface roughness and economy for turning 16MnCr5 and EN31 Steel by taking I/p
parameters as speed-feed, depth of cut, Qty of lubrication with carbide and HSS inserts.
