)conducted by Goa Board, in March 1987, with 1st

** Completed Diploma in “Shipbuilding Engineering”, from Institute Of Shipbuilding

2. Job Experience :
** Bright Engineers, Mumbai.
Worked as Engineer on board for the inland vessels in dry-dock, supervised jobs like hull
structure repairs,Piping repairs, overhauling of main engines of inland barges and tugs.
Preparation of work done certificates and preparation of bills for the customers. (Exp. – 01 year :
05.10.93 to 31.12.94). Job was left for better prospects.
** HMG Shipping & Engg. Pvt ltd. Mumbai :
Worked as supervisor on board vessel, handling all types of anchorage jobs, viz: steel
renewal, piping, mechanical Jobs, steering gear repairs, etc. Taking work-shop party with
required material, tools and tackles for attending the Emergency repairs for the ships on
anchorage, within the vessel’s sailing period. Preparation of work-done certify. and getting
signed from ship-staff. (Experience --- 08 months : 01.01.95 to 31.08.95). Job left for better
prospects.
** Western India Shipyard Ltd. Goa.
Worked as “Assistant manager ” in steel department. Handled all types of steel repairs, viz:
hull plating renewals,hatch-cover repairs, misc. steel structures and machinery foundations,
tank fabrication and modifications,pressure-testing of tanks and compartments,etc.
Individually handled misc. steel jobs of bulk-carriers, oil-tankers, container vessels, fishing
trawlers, Oil-Rigs,Gas-carriers, etc.
Planning and execution of steel jobs and getting them completed within the stipulated time.
Preparation of bar-charts, handling surveyors during the job survey (of various class:
IRS,ABS,LRS,BV,DNV etc)

Preparation of work schedule and bar-chart based on the jobs identified and approved by the
customer.

3. Identification and preparation of material requisition sheet, analising the quantum of material
reqd. for jobs.
Taking measurements on board, ref the ship-drawings for preparation of fabrication drawings.
Preparation of mark-up drawings , preparation of fabrication drawings on autocad and releasing
them to Shop-floor for pre-fabrication of assembly.
Preparation of cutting programs on CNC machines,plasma & Esab etc. preparation of work-
done certificates.
(Exp. 2.5 years : 17 Sept 2002 to May 2005). Job left due to family problem.

Worked as “Manager Production” in production department. Incharge of hull fabrication and
erection of sections of the vessel. Monitoring of day to day activities based on microsoft-project
prepared by planning dept.Conducting the daily meetings with the officers and the work-men to
discuss the daily schedule of work as per the micro-plan prepared weekly.Monitoring the
welding of sectional joints of the hull constructed , Air-pressure testing of the tanks, and vaccum
testing of the welding joints. Monitoring of the fitment of outfitting items on the vessel.
Preparation of the vessel for launching, and monitoring the check-list prepared for launching,
and responsible for launching of the vessel on the slipway, (end-launching).
(Work experience - 4years, 7 months : 11 July 2010 to 31st
Dec 2014 ). Job was left for better
prospects.
