Being Practical in Dealing with Obnoxious
Behaviour.
When your child behaves badly in public
If your little angel is throwing tantrums because an other child wont play with him does that mean he is going to be bad
boss where his employees will not like to come to work. No, it is a normal behaviour for toddlers.
Parents find it difficult to explain child’s
behaviour
There is a danger in over interpreting the child's behaviour without knowing whether it is normal to
behave like that for that age group
Bullying behaviour of your child
A toddler pushing an other child is a normal behaviour but if a six year
old does that and takes away a toy then it is not normal behaviours as
the six year old knows that toy doesn’t belong to him.
If уоur 6-year-оld іѕ acting aggressive toward аnоthor child, you need
tо step іn quickly аnd curtail thе behavior
Reward for your child’s behaviour
A four to five year old is defiant and whiny should not be allowed to behave like that for any
longer. When you cave in at a child’s urging, you give what the child wants and reward the
child that would help the child behave better.
When you have a spoiled child
1. Does your child interrupt you when you are talking to someone?
2. Does he refuse to say “please” or “Thank you” even if he asked to say?
3. Every child is obnoxious and rebellious how is your child is acting more?
Take your child to a side and say “ stop it that is rude
behaviour” & clear communication is essential
Praise and congrulations
1. Be specific with praise and congratulations for a job well done.
2. Parents acknowledge good behaviours children are more thoughtful, empathetic and
kind to others.
3. Children watch your behaviour, set a good example by exhibiting god behaviour as a
role model.
